Job summary

Transport Refrigeration, Inc. (TRI) in Oak Creek, WI is hiring experienced Diesel Technicians. Train on Thermo King refrigeration equipment and expand your skills in diesel, electrical, and HVAC systems.

This full-time role runs Monday through Friday on a 1st shift, with paid training and opportunities for advancement. Earn $25.50 to $40.00 per hour based on experience, plus monthly/quarterly incentives, benefits from day one, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Experience as a diesel technician or heavy-duty mechanic preferred.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic skills required.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain certifications.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain Thermo King transport refrigeration units.
• Troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical systems, and refrigeration components.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on APUs, heaters, and HVAC systems.
• Complete repairs safely and efficiently; participate in on-call rotation after training.
