Job summary

Findlay Volvo Cars Las Vegas is seeking experienced journeyman Technicians to support a booming service operation. We offer a high-volume shop with ample scheduling perks, competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, and a 5-day work week.

The role focuses on performing repairs per repair orders, test-driving and diagnosing systems, and communicating with the Service Advisor to inform customers of needed services.

Qualifications

• Certifications & previous experience at an automotive facility.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional repairs and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
