Findlay Chevrolet in the Southwest is seeking experienced journeyman Technicians to support a booming service business. We offer competitive signing bonuses for the right person, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

We are building a new 12 bay shop with crane system to lift engines and transmissions. Join a high-volume operation with premium pay for diesel certification and a five-day work week.

Qualifications

• Certifications & prior experience at an automotive facility.
• Valid in-state driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, brakes, A/C, and more.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional services and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications:

• CERTIFICATIONS & previous experience at an automotive facility
• Strong teamwork skills
• Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Clean driving record
