Job summary

Findlay Chevrolet in Las Vegas, NV, seeks experienced journeyman Technicians to support a high-volume service operation and service a large client base. We offer competitive pay, a 5-day work week, and premium pay for diesel certification.

Join a growing automotive group with strong community roots. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems, test-driving, and communicating with Service Advisors to estimate time and needed work.

Qualifications

• Certifications in automotive maintenance and related experience at an automotive facility.
• Must be able to diagnose and repair vehicle systems with standard shop equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Service Advisors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance of vehicles per repair orders, with efficiency and quality.
• Test-drive vehicles and components to verify repairs and diagnose issues.
• Diagnose and repair systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate estimated time and any additional work to the Service Advisor.
• Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• CERTIFICATIONS & previous experience at an automotive facility
• Strong teamwork skills
• Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Clean driving record
