Zusammenfassung

Colonial Group is seeking a Diesel Technician to provide technical service on trucks and equipment, including troubleshooting, electrical and diagnostic work. You will read repair orders and perform comprehensive repairs on engines and components, install major parts, inspect safety devices, and ensure proper lubrication while driving the vehicle to verify repairs.

Qualifikationen

• Must have mechanical aptitude and a positive attitude.
• 1–2 years minimum work experience as a Medium/Heavy Diesel Technician.
• Must possess a full set of personal hand tools.
• Knowledge of commercial truck and engine repair.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical service on vehicles and equipment including troubleshooting, electrical and diagnostic services.
• Read Repair Orders and perform repair of trucks, engines and components.
• Install injectors, pistons, liners, cam shafts, cylinder heads, bearings, oil pans, clutches, brakes, batteries and transmissions.
• Examine guards and safety devices and adjust as needed.
• Lubricate moving parts and drive vehicle to verify conformance to specs.
• Advise Service staff if additional repair work is necessary.
• Tag all return warranty parts.
• Maintain a neat, safe work environment and use company tools properly.
• Follow safety practices and seek assistance when necessary.
• Other projects/initiatives as assigned.
