Job summary

Premier Truck Group is seeking Service Technicians/Diesel Mechanics of all levels to join our team. We offer fully paid training, TopTech competition incentives, and an onboard mentoring program to help you grow your skills.

With multiple shifts, tool allowances, and vendor/OEM training programs, you can advance while developing the expertise needed to service a wide range of Freightliner and Western Star trucks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree (A.A.) or technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle inspections, troubleshooting and testing to determine required repairs.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs including engine, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Assess vehicle condition and determine additional safety or service work needed.
• Ensure repair quality by test driving and verifying serviceability.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and organize work area.
• Document all work performed and communicate with service writers as needed.
