Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; two years related experience or equivalent combination.
• Associate degree or technical training with related experience.
• Awareness of vehicle systems and basic diagnostic logic.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle inspections, troubleshooting and testing to determine required or recommended repairs.
• Accurately diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs for engines, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Examines vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
• Verifies serviceability and ensures quality repairs the first time by test drives.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area and inventory of parts and supplies.
• Documents all work performed and recommendations on the repair order per SOPs.
