Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, troubleshooting and testing to determine repairs.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs including engine, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Evaluate vehicle to determine additional safety or service work.
• Verify serviceability and ensure quality repairs with test drives.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and keep shop neat.
• Communicate with service advisor about additional work needed.
• Assist in writing work orders and test rides for customers.
