Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Warwick, Rhode Island. You will perform maintenance and repair on heavy-duty vehicles, using state-of-the-art diagnostics and tools. The role offers weekly pay, medical benefits after 30 days, PTO from day one, and 401(k) matching.

The position includes a Sunday–Thursday schedule, third shift (11:00 pm – 7:30 am), and opportunities for certification bonuses, quarterly bonuses, tuition repayment, and other employee perks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Demonstrated aptitude and experience in mechanical repair of diesel engines including preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic equipment.
