Amwaste in Louisiana seeks a skilled maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose problems, and repair company vehicles and equipment on the 2nd shift or night shift.

You will troubleshoot operational issues, weld and fabricate parts as needed, attend safety meetings, maintain tools and shop, and contribute to a safe, efficient, and well‑organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of vehicle and equipment operation and maintenance principles.
• Knowledge of vehicle and equipment diagnostics and repair principles.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot vehicle and equipment operation problems, diagnose, and repair.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to standard schedules.
