Republic Services in Tinton Falls, NJ is hiring a Diesel Mechanic to perform repair and maintenance on heavy-duty equipment. You will diagnose multi-system issues, service diesel and non-diesel trucks, and work on chassis, hydraulic, electrical, brake, engine, and HVAC systems.

Expect training in new technologies, opportunities for career growth, and a benefits package including medical, retirement plans, and PTO. Valid license and relevant experience required.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience servicing heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues with minimal supervision.
• ASE Heavy Truck certifications are a plus but not required.
• CDL B or higher is advantageous; LNG/CNG experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose, repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment on-site and on the road.
• Repair chassis, hydraulic and electrical systems, air brakes and HVAC components.
• Perform engine work, fuel systems diagnostics and aftertreatment checks.
• Identify malfunctions with diagnostic tools and complete required company training.
