Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Tallahassee, FL, to maintain and repair heavy-duty vehicles. The role offers hourly pay, weekly wages, and comprehensive benefits, with a path for advancement.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. A CDL class A is preferred; related certifications can earn bonuses. Company provides training, PTO, and 401(k) match to support career growth.

Competenze

• Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines including routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake and tire work.

Mansioni

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses standard mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Identifies root cause and performs repairs as required.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaint.
