Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for advancement in a modern, safety‑driven workshop.

You will perform maintenance and repair on heavy‑duty vehicles, diagnose and fix electrical and mechanical issues, and mentor junior technicians while adhering to all safety and DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Post-secondary technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• 3+ years of relevant mechanical experience preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred.
• Experience with heavy/medium duty equipment preferred.
• Proficient with diagnostics and electrical systems.
• Proven mechanical repair skills on diesel engines.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties including routine and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the problem and communicate fixes.
• Mentor Tech 1/2 levels and share maintenance documents.
• Adheres to safety, DOT and corporate compliance guidelines.
• Complete OEM diagnostic tool courses as required by location.
