Job summary

ACTS Fleet in Knoxville, TN is seeking an experienced diesel technician for medium and heavy-duty trucks. The role covers in-shop and on-site field service, focusing on uptime, safety, and high-quality repairs.

The position offers weekly pay, a competitive hourly rate, and paid OEM training with Mitsubishi, Cummins, and NAPA. CDL is preferred but not required, with growth through our Technician Growth Program and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with medium/heavy-duty diesel equipment.
• Advanced proficiency with diagnostic software and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and follow structured shop processes.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repair on diesel vehicle systems.
• Maintain uptime, safety, and quality of repairs.
• Work in shop and in mobile field service as required.
• Participate in preventative maintenance and DOT inspections.
