Job summary

Penske is seeking a Technician at our Belden, MS location to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet, helping customers stay on the road.

You’ll work with experienced technicians, learn maintenance processes and use cutting-edge technology, with training to grow your career. The role supports a flexible path from entry-level to skilled technician and emphasizes safety and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Mechanically inclined or completed vehicle repair training.
  • Willing to learn and grow in a stable career.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
  • Use Penske’s tools to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
  • Perform preventative maintenance repairs—like replacing or rotating tires—and lubrication/repair of cooling systems on gas and diesel engines.
  • Partner with your manager to learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching.
  • Work on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers
  • Using Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics
  • Doing preventative maintenance repairs—like replacing or rotating tires—and completing vehicle component lubrication and replacement, some electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance on gas and diesel engine vehicles
  • Partnering with your manager to learn new skills using Penske’s technician training and hands‑on coaching
  • Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
