Ready to move your career forward? As a Technician at Penske, you’ll perform preventative maintenance and repairs of all levels on the newest and best maintained fleet of vehicles in the industry. You will help our customers keep their vehicles in shape and on the road.

As a Technician II at Penske, you are a respected technician trusted to work independently on major and minor repairs, perform road tests, and complete maintenance tasks. You will also mentor new technicians and continue to grow your skills through ongoing training.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
  • Performing preventative maintenance services with minimal supervision.
  • Repairing and troubleshooting components such as engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, and fuel systems.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
  • Using Penske’s tools and technologies for diagnostics and repairs.
  • Learning new skills through technician training.
  • Completing other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of vehicle maintenance experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certification preferred.
  • Experience with diagnosing major components and OEM training, ASE certifications preferred.
  • Proficient with tools, diagnostic equipment, hand and power tools.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Problem-solving, customer service, communication skills.
  • Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Compliance with safety, DOT, OSHA policies, and ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent movement, standing, walking, climbing, bending, sitting.
  • Use of hands for routine tasks.
  • Work safely at heights and in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs.

Pay: $27.75/hr - $34.84/hr
