Benefits
  • Hourly Pay: $28.00 per hour
  • Certification Bonus of $100 for each new ASE Certification obtained, up to $700
  • Quarterly Bonus: up to $500 four times per year
  • Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday
  • Hours: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm, Saturdays 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Job Responsibilities

We want the right Maintenance Repair Mechanic to join us at Ryder to work on heavy-duty vehicles. Apply today!

  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, including preventive maintenance and diagnostics
  • Work independently on most tasks
  • Interact with customers/drivers to determine issues
  • Utilize shop management systems and documentation
  • Adhere to safety and compliance guidelines
  • Mentor junior technicians
  • Access and use maintenance documents and diagnostic tools
Requirements
  • Post-secondary vocational education (preferred)
  • Minimum tool requirements
  • Valid driver's license; CDL (A) preferred and sometimes mandatory
  • State license as required
  • At least 2 years of experience in heavy and medium-duty vehicle repairs and diagnostics

Additional requirements:

  • Ability to apply computer skills (PC, Windows)
  • Must be able to drive Ryder vehicles, obtain CDL within 6 months, pass drug tests, physical, road test, and background check
