Job summary

Mahoney Environmental Solutions, LLC in Joliet, IL seeks a Diesel Technician III to diagnose, overhaul, and repair truck and trailer engines and drivetrain systems. The role requires working unsupervised, meeting goal repair times, and training junior technicians.

Schedule is Sunday night through Friday morning, 9pm to 5:30am. Starting hourly rate is $33–$35 with a $2,000 sign-on bonus paid in installments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six years of practical diesel/truck repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, overhaul, and repair engines and transmissions.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects in engine systems.
• Perform road tests and ensure safety.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and safety initiatives.
• Train junior technicians.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures.
• Adhere to scheduling and site protocols.
