Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing/Transportation Solutions in Omaha, NE is seeking a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet. You’ll work with our diagnostic tools and receive hands-on coaching from experienced technicians to grow your career.

You will learn Penske’s maintenance processes and gain exposure to advanced vehicle maintenance technology, with a strong focus on safety and reliability. This role offers stability and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and outdoors; valid driver’s license is needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and ensuring vehicles are safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools/technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication, and some electrical/cooling system maintenance on gas and diesel engines.
• Collaborate with the manager to learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and coaching.
• Support other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
