Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Technician in Austell, GA to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You will work with Penske tools and receive coaching from experienced supervisors to ensure top performance.

This role offers stability, a second-shift schedule, and robust training through Penske’s Technician Certification Program to help you grow your career in maintenance and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1-2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and outdoors.
• Understanding and compliance with Penske safety policies including DOT/OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance like tires, lubrication, electrical and cooling system work on gas and diesel engines.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and coaching.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
