Kenan Advantage Group, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Mechanic Technician to keep Class 5-8 trucks and tank trailers safe and on the road. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, inspections and repairs in a hands-on shop environment, with modern equipment and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of diesel, fleet, truck, trailer, or heavy equipment preventive maintenance and repair of Class 5 - 8 commercial vehicles and tank trailer inspection.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver's License
• Must pass background check, MVR review, drug screen and physical exam due to safety-sensitive nature.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance on Class 5-8 commercial vehicles and tank trailers
• Diagnose and repair brake, suspension, electrical, and air systems
• Complete truck and trailer inspections
• Perform wheel-end, tire, and preventive maintenance services
• Troubleshoot starting, charging, fuel, and HVAC systems
• Maintain DOT compliance standards and inspection requirements
• Complete repair orders and maintenance documentation accurately
• Work safely in a team-oriented shop environment

Pay Range: 30.00-36.11 per_hour, General Benefits: Why Join KAG?

Requirements

• 1-5 years of diesel, fleet, truck, trailer, or heavy equipment preventive maintenance and repair of Class 5 - 8 commercial vehicles and tank trailer inspection
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid Driver's License
• Must successfully pass a background check, MVR review, drug screen, and physical examination as a condition of employment due to the safety-sensitive nature of the position.
• Ability to obtain required industry certifications
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
