Job summary

Kenan Advantage Group, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Mechanic Technician in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Class 5-8 commercial vehicles and tank trailers.

The role focuses on brakes, suspension, electrical, air systems, and diagnostics, with emphasis on safety and compliance. You’ll work in a team-oriented shop with modern equipment and extensive technician training.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of diesel, fleet, truck, trailer, or heavy equipment preventive maintenance and repair of Class 5–8 commercial vehicles and tank trailers.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must successfully pass a background check, MVR review, drug screen, and physical examination as a condition of employment due to the safety-sensitive nature of the position.
• Ability to obtain required industry certifications.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on Class 5-8 commercial vehicles and tank trailers.
• Diagnose and repair brake, suspension, electrical, and air systems.
• Complete truck and trailer inspections.
• Perform wheel-end, tire, and preventive maintenance services.
• Troubleshoot starting, charging, fuel, and HVAC systems.
• Maintain DOT compliance standards and inspection requirements.
• Complete repair orders and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Work safely in a team-oriented shop environment.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance on Class 5-8 commercial vehicles and tank trailers
• Diagnose and repair brake, suspension, electrical, and air systems

Pay Range: 18.00-45.00

Requirements
