FleetPride, Inc. in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Diesel Technician III for a day shift (Mon-Fri) who can handle advanced repair work on semi-trucks. The role offers a $7,500 signing bonus, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits starting on day one.

You’ll work with advanced diagnostics, repair systems, and have opportunities for career advancement with relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of diesel experience on semi-trucks
• Willingness to train other technicians as needed
• Good communication with service manager, service writer and customers about jobs in progress
• Ability to provide your own tools and box
• Driven to work efficiently and safely to provide the best service
• Proficient in air systems, electrical diagnosis and schematics, starting systems, brakes, wheel ends, coolant systems, AC diagnostics and repairs, steering and alignment issues, drivetrain diagnostics and repairs, transmissions, clutches, differentials, after treatment systems, upper and lower engine work and everything in between

Responsibilities

• Day shift, Monday-Friday, with consistent scheduling.
• Work on diesel trucks and related systems.
• Communicate progress and needs with the service team.
• Train other technicians as needed.
• Maintain tools and work area to FleetPride standards.
• Utilize specialty tools for in-shop repairs.

This position is for day shift, Monday-Friday and pays up to $40/hr plus monthly commission bonuses!
