Job summary

FleetPride, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Technician II for a Monday-Friday day shift in Birmingham, AL. Earn up to $40/hr with monthly commission bonuses and a $7,500 signing bonus. Benefits start on day one, including medical, dental, and vision, plus weekly pay and a 401(k) with matching.

You will work on most truck systems, enjoy career advancement opportunities, and access FleetPride Tech University for advanced training, with relocation support available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of diesel experience on semi-trucks.
• Good communication with service manager, service writer and customers.
• Ability to provide your own tools and box.
• Driven to work efficiently and safely to provide the best service.
• Experience in preventative maintenance, air systems, electrical diagnostics and repairs, starting systems, brakes, wheel ends, coolant systems, some AC diagnostics and repairs, steering and alignment issues, drivetrain diagnostics and repairs, replacing differentials, aftertreatment systems.

This position is for day shift, Monday-Friday and pays up to $40/hr. plus monthly commission bonuses.

Diesel Technician ll:

This is FleetPride's medium level of technician who will be able to work on most things that come in the door.
