Job summary

FleetPride in Utah is hiring a Technician II to perform preventative maintenance and basic to advanced repairs on heavy-duty Class 7 & 8 trucks in a non-climate controlled shop. You will diagnose vehicle systems, service brakes and suspensions, test components, and ensure safety and productivity while keeping a clean, organized workspace.

Applicants should have a Diesel Technology Associate degree, 3+ years of experience with heavy trucks, and the ability to lift 50 lbs; tools provided by the

Qualifications

• Diesel technology degree and hands-on experience with heavy trucks required.
• Experience with Class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers is essential.
• Welding and airbrake knowledge are a plus; safety is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Provide customers with preventative maintenance solutions and recommendations.
• Maintain 80% productivity; prevent comebacks.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Repair brakes, suspension, driveline components, and perform tests.
• Test drive and diagnose vehicle systems using proper equipment.
