Job summary

Penske, at 2410 Railway Ave in Everett, WA, is seeking a Technician II to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet. You’ll work independently on major and minor repairs, run road tests to diagnose problems, and mentor newer technicians while learning from experienced peers.

Qualifications

• 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Knowledge of engines, transmissions, differentials and OEM maintenance is desirable.
• Able to read and follow DOT/OSHA safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles with little supervision in a timely manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance services on trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot components such as engines and transmissions.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Log repairs using Penske tools and technologies and complete diagnostics as needed.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and mentorship.
• Assist with additional projects as assigned by supervisor.
