Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a proactive Technician II in Bryan, TX. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair heavy-duty vehicles and trailers, and log work using Penske systems. You’ll work with a skilled team and have opportunities to advance through dedicated training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred.
• 3 years of practical vehicle maintenance experience required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
• DOT and Penske safety policies compliance required.
• Willingness to travel within the district as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to keep them safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, fuel systems, etc.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools and systems to log diagnostics and repairs.
• Learn new skills through Penske training.
• Take on other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
