Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. in Coburg, Oregon is seeking an experienced Technician II to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet, using a variety of OEM equipment and Penske tools.

Qualifications

3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance required.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
Specialized training and experience in diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials).
Valid driver's license required and ability to meet DOT and Penske safety policies.

Responsibilities

Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
Doing preventive maintenance services on truck and trailer equipment with minimal supervision.
Repairing and troubleshooting engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, and fuel systems.
Keeping work area clean and safe.
Using Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
Learning new skills through Penske's technician training.
Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
