Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a skilled Technician II in Apopka, FL. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, while working with experienced techs and mentors to grow your skills.

You will diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, differentials, and related systems, logging work with Penske tools and following safety policies. A driver’s license and DOT compliance are required. Training is provided to advance your career.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification preferred.
Experience with preventive maintenance and vehicle repair.
Able to follow DOT/OSHA safety policies.
Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

Maintain vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
Perform preventive maintenance on truck and trailer equipment with minimal supervision.
Repair and diagnose engines, transmissions, differentials, and related components.
Keep workspace clean and safe.
Log repairs using Penske tools and perform basic diagnostics.
Learn new skills through Penske training.
Assist on additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
