Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Mobile Technician III to perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and advanced repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The role includes on-site shop work, training junior technicians, and participating in on-call rotations as needed.

Applicants should have 7+ years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks, diesel engine work, welding and air brake certification. CDL preferred, hand tools required, safety-first mindset, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent; diesel tech certs are a plus.
• 7+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers; diagnostic experience.
• Welding and air brake certification are valued; must provide hand and air tools.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Provide preventive maintenance solutions and service recommendations to customers.
• Repair, adjust and replace brakes, suspensions, engines, and related components.
• Test drive vehicles and diagnose issues using proper equipment.
• Train new shop employees on company procedures and repairs.
