Job summary

Hirschbach is seeking a Tractor Technician at our Denton, TX shop. You will diagnose and repair our fleet, perform preventative maintenance, and maintain accurate repair records. Expect ongoing training in diesel technology and collaboration with a skilled team.

Ideal candidates have 1–2+ years in fleet maintenance or tech school, with a valid driver’s license and certifications preferred. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years in fleet maintenance or tech school graduate
• Valid driver’s license required
• EPA 609, Cummins, Navistar, Daimler certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair our fleet — Freightliner, Kenworth, Internationals
• Perform preventative maintenance and electrical troubleshooting
• Record repairs, parts usage, and warranty details
• Follow safety and quality standards in every job
• Communicate clearly with drivers and fleet management
• Engage in ongoing diesel technology training (Diamond Logic Builder, Cummins Insite, Detroit Diagnostic Link, Bendix Acom, Wabco Toolbox)
• Collaborate with teammates to solve problems
• Take on other duties as assigned
