Job summary

Love's Travel Stops hires Diesel Technicians to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues and to assist customers during roadside services. You will perform preventative maintenance and move heavy loads in varying temperatures while upholding safety policies.

The role includes a rotating day/night schedule, company-paid DOT card, and benefits such as tuition assistance, PTO, and medical coverage after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters
• Work a rotating day/night schedule
• Ability to obtain a medical card through DOT (paid by Love's)

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters
• Ability to work in various temperatures
• Always put customer safety and satisfaction first, following safety policies
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
