Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to solve problems and comfort using tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and outdoors.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must follow Penske safety and maintenance policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and ensuring vehicles are safe for customers.
• Using Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Performing preventative maintenance like tire rotation and lubrication on gas and diesel engines.
• Collaborating with your manager to learn new skills through Penske's training and coaching.
• Working on other projects as assigned by supervisor.
