Penske is hiring an entry-level Diesel Technician/Mechanic III at our Houston, TX location. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet, helping customers stay on the road.

You’ll receive hands-on training, learn Penske’s maintenance processes, and gain industry-certified skills through our Technician Certification Program. The role offers stability, growth prospects, and a safe, well-equipped shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety policies.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs to vehicles.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske’s tools.
• Perform basic diagnostics and maintenance like tire rotation and lubrication.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s training programs.
• Participate in additional tasks as assigned.
