Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Houston to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on a well-maintained fleet.

You will work with Penske’s tools to diagnose and complete repairs, supporting customer vehicles and safety on the road. The role offers training, advancement opportunities, and access to cutting-edge maintenance technology with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work with Penske tooling and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure safety for customers.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske tools and technologies, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation, lubrication, electrical and cooling system checks on gas and diesel engines.
• Learn new skills through Penske technician training and hands-on coaching with supervision.
• Assist on other projects as assigned by supervisor.
