Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair heavy duty trucks and trailers. You will work in a fast-paced shop, perform tests, and communicate findings to the Service Advisor.

Work hours include nights and weekends as needed; a HS diploma, trade school or mechanic background is required. Candidates should be able to lift and operate tools safely and maintain a clean shop environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; trade school or mechanic experience preferred.
• Willingness to expand knowledge via education and training programs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy duty trucks and trailers.
• Perform diagnostic testing and communicate repair plan to Service Advisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Suggest TA services during inspection reviews.
