Job summary

Allstate Peterbilt Group in Clear Lake, IA seeks an experienced Diesel Technician/Service Technician to diagnose, repair and overhaul diesel engines and related systems. You will work with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and apply OEM procedures to identify parts and perform complex repairs, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver's license required.
Ability to lift and carry items up to 75 pounds.
Frequent bending and twisting.

Responsibilities

Work with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to determine root causes of system failures.
Determine services required to repair and perform failure analysis.
Complete repairs and rebuilds/overhauls on diesel engines.
Perform diagnostics and repairs on driveline and chassis components (clutches, hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, suspension, brakes, transmissions).
Apply OEM documented procedures and identify required parts/tools.
