Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as a Diesel Technician or related mechanical field is required.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic abilities are essential.
• ASE certifications and CDL are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and performance issues through diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs per repair orders.
• Identify and suggest additional maintenance or repairs when needed.
• Meet productivity, efficiency and billable hours targets while documenting labor accurately.
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure quality standards.
• Complete repair orders and inspection reports legibly and accurately.
• Maintain safety, workmanship and customer service standards, and work with customers and team members.
