Job summary

Miles Truck Services in Indiana is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to support fleet uptime through preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and quality repairs on diesel equipment. This hands-on role offers growth and a stable career with a trusted partner, True North Fleet Services.

You will work with drivers, service advisors, and shop leadership, performing PMs, diagnostics, DOT inspections, and documenting repairs.

Qualifications

3+ years of diesel maintenance experience preferred.
ASE TSeries certifications preferred (T2, T4, T5, T6, T8) or willingness to obtain.
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs.
CDL is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on heavyduty trucks and trailers.
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, brake systems, suspension, steering, and electrical components.
Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues.
Complete DOT inspections and ensure compliance standards are met.
Accurately document repairs and maintenance activities.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Collaborate with drivers, service advisors, and shop leadership.
