Rush Enterprises is seeking a Diesel Technician to service and repair heavy trucks at our Victoria, TX location. Responsibilities include diagnosing, disassembling, repairing, and reassembling engines and components, reading job orders, and ensuring safety standards are met.

Training and development are available, with opportunities for growth within the Rush Truck Centers network. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least five years of Class 7 & 8 tech experience.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 5 years’ experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets insurability guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Install injectors, pistons, liners, cam shafts, cylinder heads, rod and main bearings, oil pans, clutches, fan hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, brakes, batteries and transmissions.
• Read job orders and determine malfunction to plan work procedures.
• Examine safety devices and make adjustments as needed.
• Lubricate parts and drive repaired vehicle to verify conformance to specs.
• Attend training classes and stay current with factory bulletins.
• Develop positive relationships with customers to increase satisfaction.
