Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians to join our team. You will diagnose and repair light mechanical issues, assist with roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance to keep customers and drivers moving safely and efficiently.

This role involves lifting, working in varying temperatures, and a rotating day/night schedule. Love's offers tuition assistance, strong benefits, and opportunities for growth in a family-owned, nationwide network.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
