Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to diagnose and repair diesel engines and perform routine maintenance in a fast-paced environment. You will interact with customers and drivers from diverse backgrounds, ensuring their travels are safe and comfortable.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and working a rotating day/night schedule.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Move and lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters and in varying temperatures
• Prioritize safety and customer satisfaction per company policies
• Operate a rotating day–night schedule
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
