Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians to work in a fast-paced environment, performing repairs and preventative maintenance on heavy-duty equipment. You will interact with drivers and customers to keep journeys running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds and work in various temperatures
• Ability to work rotating day/night shifts
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters and in varying temperatures
• Maintain safety and customer satisfaction by following company policies
• Work a rotating schedule between day and night as needed
