Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Diesel Technician to join our team in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean facilities and engaging with customers and drivers from across the country. You will repair light mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with roadside services.

The role requires lifting 75+ pounds, working in varied temperatures, and adhering to safety policies. A rotating schedule may apply, with Love’s covering DOT medical cards.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
