Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Forest Park, GA to provide maintenance and repair on heavy‑duty vehicles. You will work with state‑of‑the‑art diagnostics and equipment, receiving weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, vocational/technical certification preferred, basic tools, and 2+ years related experience. CDL‑A preferred with post‑hire requirements to obtain. EEO/AA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• 2+ years of combined classroom training and work experience in mechanical repair.
• CDL Class A preferred (must obtain within 6 months after hire).

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools when applicable.
• Identifies root cause of failures and performs repairs as required.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaint.
