Paragon Leasing L.P. is looking for a Diesel Technician to service a fleet of trucks, including Peterbilt, Kenworth and Freightliner. You will handle diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs across engines, suspensions, brakes, electrical systems and more.

The role requires a CDL, basic math and English proficiency. Several shifts are available, with a strong safety culture and opportunities to advance within the fleet maintenance group.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of general heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience.
• Working knowledge of telematics systems and diagnostic software.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and understand operating manuals, service manuals and written instruction.
• Valid Class C driver's license.
• Ability to clearly read, write and speak English.
• Basic math calculations.
• Cummins or Detroit Certifications (preferred).
• Commercial Inspection Certification (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Performing scheduled and non-routine repairs to company/contractor fleet to meet DOT standards.
• Diesel and gas engine diagnostics and repair.
• Suspension and steering systems diagnostics and repair.
• Air and hydraulic braking systems diagnostics and repair.
• Electrical and lighting diagnostics and repair.
• Preventable Maintenance repairs.
• Changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
• Maintaining a clean and neat shop.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
