Job summary

NationaLease is seeking a Diesel Technician to perform engine and chassis repairs on Kenworth, Peterbilt, International, and other trucks. The role includes diagnosing issues, documenting procedures, and ensuring safety standards.

You will work with a team to meet production goals and maintain high quality service for customers. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, experience with heavy-duty trucks, and a valid Class B CDL.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy duty and medium truck repair with strong mechanical, analytical, and reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical services to vehicles and equipment.
• Reads job orders and observes vehicles to resolve malfunctions and plan work procedures.
• Follows checklists to ensure critical parts are examined.
• Coordinates with warranty administrators to maximize profit recapture and handle warranty parts returns.
• Maintains organized workspace and adheres to safety requirements and procedures.
• Completes work as assigned by management and test drives vehicles to verify fixes.
• Participates in technical training and maintains customer vehicle cleanliness.
• Develops and maintains professional relationships with customers and coworkers.
