Job summary

Paragon Leasing L.P. is hiring a Diesel Technician to perform scheduled and non‑routine repairs on our fleet, including Peterbilt, Kenworth and Freightliner trucks. You’ll diagnose engines, repair suspension and braking systems, and conduct preventive maintenance to meet DOT standards.

Applicants should have 1+ years of heavy‑duty diesel experience, basic tools, familiarity with telematics and diagnostic software, and a valid Class C license. English literacy and basic math are required.

Qualifications

• Basic Tool Set for job functions.
• 1+ years of general heavy‑duty diesel mechanic experience.
• Working knowledge of telematics systems and diagnostic software.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to read manuals and written instructions.
• Valid Class C driver's license.
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.
• Basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and non‑routine repairs to fleet to meet DOT standards.
• Diagnostics and repair of diesel and gas engines.
• Repair of suspension, steering, braking, electrical and lighting systems.
• Preventive maintenance and routine servicing.
• Oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
