Job summary

W.W. Williams seeks a skilled Diesel Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and diagnose repairs for diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks while collaborating with fellow technicians to ensure safety and customer satisfaction.

This full-time, permanent role is based in Tremont Park, GA with opportunities across our service network. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of diesel repair experience, strong system knowledge (A/C, brakes, emissions), and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of diesel repair and maintenance experience in a heavy truck/fleet dealership or shop environment.
• Strong working knowledge of multiple systems (A/C, brake, emission, air), diagnostics, and troubleshooting diesel engines.
• Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality repairs and maintenance on Diesel Engines/Heavy Duty Trucks as specified in manufacturer-designed procedures.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork (e.g., repair information on work orders, information for state and emission inspections) in a timely manner.
• Diagnose failure of vehicles by disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts.
• Dedication and adherence to all Company and industry safety standards.
• Inspecting vital parts to ensure they are in proper operating conditions.
• Create a job repair plan based on diagnosis.
