Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to perform routine preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. You will work under supervision to service a single fleet with state-of-the-art equipment and support drivers on their routes.

The role emphasizes basic electrical and mechanical maintenance, adherence to standard procedures, and ongoing training in new technologies, with opportunities for professional growth and a stable shift.

Qualifications

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• ASE Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.
• Valid Driver's License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems to perform preventive maintenance and some repairs.
• Conducts visual inspections to identify potential equipment issues and sources of malfunctions.
• Completes applicable company training programs.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
